Before I bought a Dual action sander I tried everybody else's at work. And they either vibrate too much or are extremely loud. I tried just about every kind until somebody let me use their shinano. Seriously it doesn't get better than this. This is one of if not the very best DA sander out there and they last a lifetime. One of our techs had it for 30 years and it still works great. It's a no-brainer purchase.

Since I bought it, I've had multiple opportunities to use this equipment, it is Smooth & Silent and just Ideal for a guy seeking to correct his own finishing mistakes. The majority of my vehicles look like Glass, and the others will very soon. I'll say confidently that the Shinano SI-3101-6M is the tool I needed to fix my terrible basecoat/clearcoat touch-up work. My vehicle is now so smooth, after using this equipment to wet sand it. Very pleased with this purchase and the service was great as well.

I have spent a lot of time and money on many dual action sanders over the years when rebuilding street rods in my garage. Comparing this sander to others I've used before, it is far quieter. Although it is a wonderful bonus, I have never had one where I felt the need for ear protection. More so than any other sander I've ever used, this one vibrates far less. While I haven't used a Dynabrade so I can't compare, I can use this shinano for a long time without my hand becoming fatigued.

This is an absolutely brilliant sander. I have been using it a lot since I got it, but most recently I stripped and painted my bronco,and this little guy made it a breeze. I have a couple of other sanders but this one takes the work out of sanding you can quote me on that.

I work at an auto body shop, and I got this sander some time ago to replace the old one I was using at the time as it had started showing signs of slowing down. This sander is very easy to operate, comfortable to hold, and made my projects go a lot faster. Detail work was not too difficult despite the six inch discs. All in all, very happy with my selection, I had almost forgotten how optimum performance feels like with a sander.
