Shinano Heavy Duty Mini Sander SI-2008EX

Shinano air sander is an essential tool to have in your arsenal. I recommend it for heavy duty sanding jobs.

It's an excellent unit for the price and is very helpful for spot wet sanding and polishing small areas. I absolutely adore it. I use a 20 gal compressor with it, and it works perfectly. However, I think a 15 gal compressor should be sufficient to achieve near similar results. You might just need to give it a break every few minutes. If you like polishing, you should get one of these.

This sander offers great value in my opinion. I have used it several times a week since I got it a couple months ago and it has held up well. The speed is quite easy to control with the regulator, especially compared to other units that cost 3-4 times more, I am very happy with it.

I usually do a lot of polishing for work, especially on aluminum surfaces on trucks, and needed something smaller for the harder to reach areas. I recently bought an electric polisher that was the same size as this but it just wasn’t powerful enough. This one has more power than I need. It does the job effortlessly and without slowing me down. Easy to operate and with no more vibration than to be expected.

I got this little sander to polish the sun damaged headlights on my car. The tutorial I saw recommended using a different sander than this one but I couldn't afford it, so I decided to get this one instead and it worked beautifully. Very happy with my purchase.

I got this for my workshop. I fix rims almost everyday and I absolutely love this little gadget. The sanding pads it comes with are amazing as well to be honest, I wish there were a little bit more coming alongside the package if I'm honest. Overall, it’s a nice product and works well compared to others.
