Shinano Small air Die Grinder collet 1/4" (6mm) Model SI-2001S

The SI-2001S is unusually quiet and smooth for a die grinder, which is usually noisy and vibrates a lot. The bearings are obviously of superior quality, and the air motor operates smoothly. When working over extended periods of time or in close quarters, this makes a significant difference. This tool is really well-made.

This die grinder is an excellent purchase for both professionals and enthusiasts. I use it for anything from molding plastic and wood to cleaning out welds. It's incredibly powerful for its tiny and of great quality. Very secure is the 1/4" collet.

I grind and shape materials a lot, and the SI-2001S is quite comfortable to use for long stretches of time. In addition to being lightweight, its ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue. The work area is kept clear by the well-directed air flow.

This Shinano die grinder is essential for polishing and porting cylinder heads. I can set the ideal RPM for various abrasives using the variable speed control, and it's easy to navigate into ports because to its small size. Compared to my larger die grinders in the past, this one is a huge improvement.

The SI-2001S die grinder is ideal for precise detailing, and I use it for complex metalwork. I can go into confined locations and get incredibly accurate outcomes because of my small size and superb control. It has very little vibration and is quite smooth, which is essential for delicate work.

Very nice, light, and compact tool. It has a high rpm and unlike most tools but I did not need to put a regulator on it to better control the speed, the trigger lever is strong and easy to feather delicately.

For the cost, this thing is absolutely awesome. Especially when used with high flow fittings or direct attachment to the pneumatic source. I am currently doing some light deburring work on aluminum and stainless steel. And It works absolutely fine for those purposes.

I bought this as my first die grinder because of the price and I had also heard of this exact grinder and was impressed with the reviews, so decided to make the purchase. Opening the box and installing the attachments I liked the feel of the grinder itself even before using it, it had a real premium feel to it which was a good sign. Using the die grinder, it can get loud, but not deafening where you would have ringing in your ear when you're done … but not super quiet where you can't be heard at all using it. The speed is also very sufficient with a maxed out rpm of 25000, it’s the perfect little grinder for every workman.

This tool is exceptional value for the money. It completely blows most of my snap on products out of the water in terms of performance. It feels good in the hand and has a decent build quality. The trigger is strong and responsive making it easy to use and maintain its running speed. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very nice build quality, high rpm's able to produce sparks from a flap wheel. It's clearly a high quality product and I love it. The 1/4 collet clamps down on my 6mm bits just fine though it needs to be tightened slightly. Definitely worth a look if you're after a nice compact high speed die grinder.
