Shinano Small air Die Grinder collet 1/4" (6mm) Model SI-2002EX

I have been in the automotive industry for a while now, I only recently opened up my own performance shop and I use die grinders regularly. Early on due to cost I decided to get those cheap throwaway tools and I have unsurprisingly had more than a couple issues with them. However when a colleague of mine recommended I check out shinano tools like this grinder, it was a game changer. I mean what a difference a nice tool makes. It's quite compact which makes it a lot easier to use everywhere and it still has way more torque than some larger cheaper tools for only a fraction of the price.

I have used shinano power tools for about 5 years now and I have not had one issue. I work at an automotive dealership so we get good use out of them, especially our grinders for detailing. I am looking forward to adding this tool to my personal collection. Just another tool in my arsenal.

I needed to get a couple die grinders for work, I especially needed a little one to make working in those tight spaces easier and this guy has more than met my expectations. Yes it is small in size, but it has tons of power for such a little tool. It does the job of name brand grinders twice its size and is much easier to handle and move around. I use it mostly with a cone grinder to deburr steel. I am running it off of 100 psi shop air. I will be buying this grinder again to replace inferior grinders that wear out.

It's a quality little grinder. I use it to do flat repairs on automotive tires at work and also to clean corroded metal surfaces. It was able to do light duty like removing a thin layer of rust from my burglar proof when I needed to repaint it, all the way up to heavy duty things like taking off a thick layer of rust off my pickup truck's frame with ease. The noise levels are pretty manageable but it can get annoying so ensure you have proper protective gear.

Nice compact die grinder with good power. Spins smooth and true. Had zero issues using it to be honest. The feather touch throttle makes it easy to operate it and the composite body cover absorbs a lot of the vibrations the tool generates. Great product.
