Shinano ⅜” sq drive rear exhaust pneumatic (air) ratchet wrench si-1218ex

I found this tool a bit larger than a traditional air ratchet, however it allows for a lot of leverage and has much more power than I initially expected. I mainly use it for hood adjustment on buses as it requires a ridiculous number of extensions to get to with the hood closed. But this wrenches added power allows me to do that easily and quite efficiently.

This ratchet is the quite frankly best out there. I really like the double thrust mechanism, that is one of the features that make this tool so unique. It has plenty of working torque. In tight spaces the button trigger design makes it easy to operate. Another thing I like about this particular air ratchet is that the composite body makes the weight very manageable. But I'm giving it 5 stars mainly for the quality craftsmanship and strength it has. Great styling, ergonomics and good power help get the job done. Good Buy!

I have had this tool for a while now and I use it fairly often. I look after my tools so I regularly oil and store them very well. I think it is good and better than average. I thought the double mold composite body cover would be fragile when I saw the description but to my surprise it has held up quite well. Wrench has plenty of power for a 3/8 drive and along with the adjustable speed/power is really handy.

I'm giving this product 5 stars because the instructions it came with made it quite easy to use and get the settings and shifting from forward to reverse just right. The weight was quite surprising given the quality of the tool, however the big advantage was the power and torque it packs. This is a very strong tool and it will get the job done.

I have used this exact tool for a couple years prior and it worked brilliantly even with near everyday use however recentlyI noticed it was beginning to slow down.. needed a replacement, I had my doubts about buying this online but I went for it. I am glad I did, it made the whole process easier and the wrench works great. Heavy duty not cheaply made. I would recommend this item and the seller.
