Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
Q1: How does the auto drain feature work?
A: The auto drain uses a float mechanism. When water accumulates in the bowl and raises the float to a certain level, the valve opens automatically to discharge the liquid, then closes to prevent air loss. Q2: Does the auto drain require electricity?
A: No, the auto drain on the AC2000-02D is a mechanical float type and operates entirely on the pressure and liquid level within the bowl, requiring no external power source. Q3: Can I still manually drain the bowl if needed?
A: Yes, most auto-drain bowls have a manual override feature (usually a small pin or button at the bottom) that allows you to clear the bowl manually if necessary. Q4: Is this unit compatible with SMC components?
A: Yes, WAALPC AC series FRL units are designed to be dimensionally and functionally equivalent to popular SMC models, making them excellent drop-in replacements. Q5: What is the maximum pressure this unit can handle?
A: The maximum operating pressure is 0.95 MPa (approximately 137 PSI), with a pressure resistance (burst pressure) of 1.5 MPa.
