Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q1: What is a "piggyback" filter regulator?

A: A piggyback unit combines the air filter and the pressure regulator into a single, stacked assembly. This design saves space compared to having a separate filter and regulator mounted side-by-side.
Q2: Does this unit include a lubricator?

A: No, the AW2000-02 is a Filter-Regulator only. If your tools require oil lubrication, you will need to add a separate lubricator (like the AL2000) or purchase a complete FRL combination unit.
Q3: How do I adjust the pressure?

A: Pull the adjustment knob up to unlock it, turn it clockwise to increase pressure or counter-clockwise to decrease pressure, and then push the knob back down to lock the setting.
Q4: Can I use this for spray painting?

A: Yes, a filter-regulator is essential for spray painting to remove moisture that can ruin the paint finish and to control the air pressure to the spray gun. (Note: Do not use a lubricator on a line used for painting.
Q5: What is the filter element made of?

A: The standard 5-micron filter element in this unit is made of durable, sintered brass.
